Laurie McClain, candidate for Gwinnett County Commissioner, thinks she knows better than you, the experts and the taxpaying public.
McClain, who knows nothing about buses, trains, rapid transit or governmental operations was chosen to be Chair of the Gwinnett Transit Review Board by a development community anxious to dump their distressed properties on the taxpayers. She ignored the advice of transit experts, she ignored the advice of conservatives and she pooh -poohed reasonable alternatives. She's 100% for MARTA, tax increases and rail lines to nowhere; it's what the developers want.
